Welcome to JenTex Training & Consulting. This website and the JenTex Learning Lab (collectively, the "Service") are owned and operated by JenTex Training & Consulting ("JenTex", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our website, purchasing our continuing education (CE) courses, or contracting our professional services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
1. The JenTex Learning Lab: Course Access & Use
-
Access Expiration: Upon purchasing any self-guided, asynchronous video course through the JenTex Learning Lab, you are granted a limited, non-transferable license to access the course materials. This access will automatically expire exactly one (1) year from the original date of purchase.
-
No Account Sharing: Your account credentials, login information, and course access are strictly individual. Account sharing, multi-user access under a single login, or transferring account permissions to another party is strictly prohibited. JenTex reserves the right to terminate any account suspected of unauthorized sharing without notice or refund.
2. Payment, Refund, and Cancellation Policies
A. Digital and Individual CE Products
-
Strict No-Refunds Policy: Due to the digital nature and immediate availability of our downloadable materials, self-guided video courses, and online learning modules, all digital product purchases are final and non-refundable.
B. B2B, Team Training, and Speaking Services
-
Non-Refundable Deposits: Organizations contracting JenTex for Custom Team Training, Workshops, Facilitation, or Keynote Speaking must pay a non-refundable deposit to secure and hold the designated event date on our master calendar.
-
Rescheduling Policy: Client organizations are permitted to reschedule a booked event one (1) time, provided written notice is received by JenTex prior to the event date. In this instance, the original non-refundable deposit will be applied directly to the new rescheduled date.
-
Cancellation Policy: If an organization cancels a booked event without rescheduling, or cancels a second time after an initial reschedule, the entire deposit is forfeited, and no refunds will be issued.
3. Continuing Education (CE) Credits and Compliance Disclaimer
-
Authorized Provider Status: JenTex Training & Consulting is an authorized and accredited continuing education provider for licensed social workers and certified case managers.
-
Learner Responsibility: While JenTex makes every effort to ensure its curricula comply with national standard-setting bodies, licensing laws and state board regulations vary widely and change frequently. It is the sole responsibility of the individual professional learner to verify and confirm that any specific JenTex course meets the current licensing renewal mandates of their particular state licensing board or governing jurisdiction. JenTex shall not be held liable if a licensing board rejects a credit submission.
4. Intellectual Property and Content Restrictions
-
Proprietary Rights: All content delivered through our website, the LearnWorlds LMS platform, live workshops, or symposia—including but not limited to videos, graphics, clinical assessment toolkits, presentation slide decks, proprietary frameworks, and course materials—is the exclusive intellectual property of JenTex Training & Consulting.
-
Permitted Use: All materials are provided for your individual, personal, and professional development use only.
-
Prohibited Exploitation of Content: You are strictly prohibited from copying, reproducing, redistributing, modifying, publishing, or broadcasting any JenTex material. You may not use our proprietary materials, frameworks, or concepts to train other professionals, staff members, or commercial audiences without the explicit, prior written authorization and licensing permission from JenTex.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JenTex Training & Consulting, its founder, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, our training materials, digital platform, or professional consultation services.
6. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
7. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time. Your continued use of the website and Service after any changes constitute your acceptance of the revised terms.
